Extended Deadline for Combined Administrative Services Examination 2009

CSIR will hold an All-India Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officers and Executive Assistants, open to Indian Nationals only.
- Section Officer: Post- 43 (Gen-23, OBC-11, SC-06, ST-03), Pay Scale- Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade Pay- RS. 4800
- Executive Assistant: Post- 90 (Gen-47, OBC-24, SC-13, ST-06), Pay Scale- Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade Pay- RS. 4200
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor Degree of a recognised university in any discipline; Desirable: Additional qualification of successful completion of one year Diploma Course in Computer.
Age Limit: Upper Age limit is 28 years as on the last date for receipt of application i.e. 31.07.2009. Reservation as per govt. rule
Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected through an All Indian Competitive ONLINE Examination comprising a Preliminary and a Main Examination followed by an interview/ personality test. Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination will be allowed to appear in the Main Examination. Shortlisted candidates from the Main Examination will be called for Interview/ Personality Test.

Duly filled in and signed application may be sent by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ By Hand so as reach ' The Joint Secretary (Administration), Anusandhan Bhavan, 2, Rafi Marg, New Delhi 110001 before the extended deadline of 31st July 2009 for applicants from all regions (including remote areas).
