Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Tax Assistant Non - Gazetted Group C Ministerial Post in the various Commissionerates of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) in the payscale of Rs.4000-6000 all over country.

No. of Vacancies : 427 posts. Category wise firm number of vacancies/reservations among SC/ST/OBC/PH/ex serviceman in CBEC and CBDT will be determined in due course.

Age : 20 to 27 years. Relaxation for certain categories as per prevailing rules.

Educational Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (ii) Should possess a Data entry speed of 8000 key Depression per hour on computer.

Recruitment of District Judge in Bombay High Court

Applications are invited for the posts of District Judge in the Judicial Service of the State of Maharashtra :

District Judge : 14 posts
Pay scale : Rs.16750-20500/-
Age : not less than 35 years and more than 48 years of age.

Qualification : a holder of Degree in Law (b) practicing as an Advocate in the High Court or Courts subordinate thereto for not less than seven years on the date of publication of Advertisement OR Must be working or must have worked as Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate for not less than seven years in the post or posts. In computing the period of seven years the period during which the candidate has worked as an Advocate shall be included

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will have to appear for Competitive Examination/ Written Examination which shall be of not less than two and half hours duration with 200 marks. The High Court shall hold viva-voce examination carrying 50 marks of candidates who secure not less than 50% of marks at such written examination. Provided that Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates who obtain 45% or more marks in the written examination, shall be eligible for the viva-voce examination.
