IIST Kerela invites applications for the regular post of Assistant Professor and Reader (on contract basis)

Assistant Professor (Earth and Space Sciences)
Qualification :

• B.Tech in Computer Science / Electrical Engg / ECE with First Class.
• M.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical Engg/ECE with First Class.
• Ph.D in the relevant area.

OR

• B.Sc in Mathematics with First Class.
• M.Sc in Mathematics with First Class.
• Ph.D in the relevant area

Reader on Contract (Mathematics)
Qualification :

• B.Sc in Mathematics with First class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA.
• M.Sc in Mathematics with First class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA.
• Ph.D in Mathematics with soft computing specialization.

OR

• B.Tech in Computer Science / ECE with First Class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA.
• M.Tech in Computer Science/ECE with First Class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA

Emoluments/ Remuneration:
For Assistant Professor-Pay band- 3 (Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-) + HRA-20% and DA- 45%. Total emoluments – Rs.48,675/-(Approximately).
For Reader-Consolidated amount of Rs.40,000/-per month.

Age: 35 yrs
Qualification : Graduate degree in Personnel Management / Administration, Knowledge of govt. rules and regulations, computer based e-management, ERP etc. and at least 5 years service in PB3 plus GP5400 or equivalent in a governmental establishment as in above cases
