Appointment of Gurus Under Guru Shishya Parampara

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth is an autonomous body under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, Govt. of India. It runs courses under Guru Shishya Parampara for training institutionally qualified Ayurveda doctors.

Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV): Training of Ayurvedic graduates under traditional and other eminent practitioners for a period of one year. For postgraduates this course is run for 6 months in specialities like netrachikitsa, asthi chikitsa and ksharasutra etc. At present, shishya are paind monthly stipend of Rs. 7000/-, Gurus are paind monthly honoarium Rs. 10000/- up to 5 students.

Eligibility for Guru:
Registered to practice Ayurveda.
Possessing a recognised qualification included in any schedule of IMCC Act 1970/ Trained under Gurukula system.
