Auditors and Accountants in the offices of Indian Audit and Accounts Department (IAAD) Under C & AG of India, Special Recruitment Examination, 2009

Staff Selection Commission will hold on 15.11.2009, an open competitive examination, at Guwahati, Itanagar, Aizwal, Kohima, Agartala, Imphal and Shillong for selecting candidates to the posts of Auditors and Accountants, a Group 'C' Non Gazetted, Ministerial Posts in the Pay Band -I of Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay- Rs. 2800/- for the offices of Indian Audit and Accounts Department (IAAD) located in North Eastern States.

• Auditors: Post- 135 (UR-69, SC-20, ST-10, OBC-36)
• Accountants: Post- 50 (UR-26, SC-07, ST-04, OBC-13)
  

Age: The candidate must be between the age of 18-27 years as on the closing date i.e. 21.08.2009. Upper age limit will be relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, PH (OH/HH), ExS candidates as per extant Government Orders in force.

Educational Qualification (as on 21.08.2009):
Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.

Examination Fee: Rs. 100/- for general candidates. candidates from scheduled Castes/ Schedule Tribes/ Physically Handicapped/ Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from payment of Examination fee.

How to Apply: Completed application addressed to the "The Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission, Rukmini Nagar, Assam Sachivalaya, Guwahati-78006, must reach the concerned Regional Office of the Commission latest by 21.08.2009 (5pm) and 28.08.2009 (5pm) in the case of candidates residing in remote areas.
