West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Etc. Examination-2009

Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the aforesaid competitive recruitment examination. The examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., (1) Preliminary Examination (Objective type) and (2) Main Examination (Conventional type – Written Examination) and Personality Test. The Preliminary Examination will be a screening test for selection of candidates for the Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centres in West Bengal in January, 2009 or thereabout. The Main Examination will be held in Kolkata only in June, 2009 or thereabout.

• Civil Service Exam : Pay Scale : Rs.9000-14550/-, Age : 20-35 years, Qualification : (i) A citizen of India or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Govt. of India, (ii) A degree of a recognized University, (iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling)

Application Fee : Rs.200/- only in the form of Indian Postal Order or in the form of a receipted challan from a Government Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head "0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees". No fee from SC/ST candidates.
