Recruitment of Constables Telecommunication/ Transport

Applications are invited from male Indian citizens resident of the following posts for filling up of vacancies. The last date of receipt of application is 16th October 2008 (23 October for Far-flung areas)

• Constable (Radio Operator) : 390 posts, Age : 18-23 years
• Constable (Radio Technician) : 57 posts, Age : 18-25 years
• Constable (Line Man) : 36 posts, Age : 18-23 years
• Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 56 posts, Age : 19-25 years
• Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 60 posts, Age : 18-25 years
• Constable (Driver) : 557 posts, Age : 20-25 years

Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/- Constable and Rs.3200-4900 Head Constable.

Place of Posting : Any where within and outside the Territory of India.

Eligibility : Physical : Height - 170 cms (165 cms for persons from special zones, 162.5 cms for ST) , Chest : 80 cms (78 cms for persons from special zones, 76 cms for ST), Expanded Chest - 85 cms (83 cms for persons from special zones, 81 cms for ST)
