Invites final year engineering students to join the Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned Officers in Technical / Executive Branches Under University Entry Scheme (UES)

Applications are invited from unmarried male and female candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical/Executive Branches of the Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES), for course commencing July 2012.
  
Eligibility Conditions:

• Age: 19 to 24 years (i.e. born between 02.07.1988 to 01.07.1993 (both dates inclusive)
• Qualification: Should be studying in a recognised university with one of the following disciplines with a minimum of 60 % aggregate marks till pre final year (upto VI semester): -
• Disciplines :
• Engineering Branch (Only Men): Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Aeronautical / Aerospace, Control and Production,
• Electrical Branch (Men Only): Electrical, Electronics, Tele Communications, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, Control System Engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Science, Information Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Avionic
• Naval Architecture (NA) Cadre (Men & Women): Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical/ Aero Space, Metallurgy, Naval Architecture
• General Service(X) (Only Men) : Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical / Aerospace, Production, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Control, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication
