The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 26th December, 2010 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges.

Age : For Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.12.2010.
Lectureship: No upper age limit for applying for lectureship

Examination Fee : For General candidates, Rs.450/-; for OBC (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website : www.ncbc.nic.in ) Rs. 225/- and for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates, Rs. 110/-.

Last date for Applying On-Line : 25.10.2010

Last date for receiving the print out of online Application : 01.11.2010
