Applications are invited for following posts in Government Engineering Colleges in Jharkhand:

Principal: 03 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 18400-500-22400
Qualification: Ph.D degree(with first class degree at Bachelors or Master’s level). In addition the candidate should be an eminent person in the field with 15 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Professor or above.

Professor: 27 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-450-20900-500-22400
Qualification: Ph.D degree with First Class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology with 10 year’s experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and/or equivalent.

Assistant Professor: 54 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 12000-420-18300
Qualification: Ph.D degree with the First Class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with 3 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of lecturer or equivalent.

Lecturer: 150 posts
Pay Scale: Rs.8000-275-13500
Qualification: First Class Bachlor’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or
First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engineering)/ Technology (Technology) (No minimum experience required)

Last date: 30.08.10, now extended upto 01.10.2010 because of amendments in qualification.
