Recruitment of Directors in ICMR

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)

Applications are invited up to 20th November 2008 for the posts of Director in the scale of pay of Rs. 18400-500-22400/- at the following institute/ centres of ICMR.

• National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Chennai
• Tuberculosis Research Centre, TRC), Chennai
• Institute of Cytology & Preventive Oncology (ICPO), Noida

Qualification:

• Postgraduate degree in Medical Subjects recognized by MCI or Doctorate Degree in Life/ Biological Sciences or relevant biological subjects or statistics from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Fifteen years research/ teaching experience in the re2quired area.

Desirable:

• Additional post-doctoral research or teaching experience in relevant subjects after MD/Ph.D.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
