Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 11.09.2008 (18th September, 2008 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

• Farm Superintendent : 01 post in Farm Machinery, Training & Testing Institute, Department of Agriculture & Co-operation, Agriculture Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Master's Degree in Agriculture or Bachlor's Degree in agriculture with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Agronomy from a recognized university or equivalent. 2 years experience in agronomical problems.
• Mineralogists (Senior) : 04 posts (OBC-1, UR-3) in in Geological Survey of India, Mines Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/- , Age : 40 years, Qualification : Master's Degree in Physics or Physical Chemistry of a recognized university or equivalent., Experience : 7 years experience in X-ray and Spectroscopy and other lines of mineral studies including research experience in these lines.
• Assistant Executive Engineer : 01 post in Central Ground Water Board, Water Resources Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Age : 35 years, Qualification: Degree in Drilling OR Mining OR Mechanical OR Electrical OR Civil Engineering Or Degree in Petroleum Technology from a recognized university or equivalent, Experience : 2 years experience in operation/ maintainance and repair of different types of tube-wells or Drilling Rigs.
