Indian Air Force invites enterprising & Adventurous Engineers to join the Indian Air Force as Permanent/ Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers in Technical Branches course commencing July 2009.

Qualifications :
Age : Born between 02 July 81 and 01 July 91 for AEC/SSC.
Education : AEC (Electronics) : Be/B.Tech. in Electronics/ Telecoms/ Electrical/ Electrical Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science & Engineering or a combination of these subjects. OR Diploma in Electronics of Madras Institute of Technology OR B.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics/ Optics and Opto Electronics OR M.Sc.Degree in Physics (with Electronics) / Electronics/ Computer Science/ Computer application / MCA with Maths. Physics and Electronics and Radio Engineering with 60% & above., AEC (Mechanical) : B.E./ B.Tech. in Aeronautical/ Mechanical / Production/ Industrial Production or a combination of these subjects. OR Section A and B of Associate Membership Examination of Institution of Engineers (India) with Mechanical/ Aeronautical subjects by actual studies. OR Section A and B of Associate Membership Examination of the Aeronautical Society of India with Group I (Design and Production) of Group II (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul subjects by actual studies.
Height and Weight : Minimum height Men - 157.5 cms and Women - 152 cms with correlated weight.Education : AEC (Electronics) : Be/B.Tech. in Electronics/ Telecoms/ Electrical/ Electrical Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science & Engineering or a combination of these subjects. Pay Scale : Rs.8250-10050/- (going to revise soon)
