Recruitment of Assistant Commandants in UPSC

(ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) EXAMINATION 2009

The Union Public Service Commission will hold an examination on 11th October, 2009 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Police Force (CPF) viz. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Educational Qualifications:
Degree of a recognized University or an equivalent qualification.

Selection Procedure:

Selections will be made on the basis of a written Examination to be conducted by the UPSC followed by the Physical Standards/ Physical/ Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Tests to be conducted under the supervision of a Nodal Authority to be appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

All applications must reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur Housr, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi- 110069" either by hand or by Post/ Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 8th June, 2009
