• Deputy Director (MTS E-II) : Post-05, Pay- PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100+6600 GP, Qualification- 1st Division in BE/ B.Tech. in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics and Communication/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent or 1st Division in Master of Computer Application from a recognized University/ Institution with 4 years experience in the relevant field.
• Assistant Director (MTS E-I) : Post-08, Pay- PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100+5400 GP, Qualification- 1st Division in BE/ B.Tech. in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics and Communication/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent or 1st Division in Master of Computer Application from a recognized University/ Institution 1 years experience in the relevant field.

INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE/ INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2009

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2009 commencing from 21st November, 2009 for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.

Salient features of the examination are published herein for general information of candidates. Educational Qualifications: A candidates for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics and a candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Post Graduate degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a recognized University.

Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulation given in Appendix-III of the Rules for the Indian Economics Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2009 published in the in the Gazette of Indian dated 6th June, 2009
