Vacancy for the post of Director, Kathak Kendra, New Delhi

Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for the post of Director, Kathak Kendra, New Delhi in the Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 6600/- with usual allowances. The post is to be filled on contract/ deputation basis.

Essential Qualification:
(a) Post Graduate Degree preferably in humanities/ social sciences/ music/ dance/ drama,
(b) Understanding and knowledge of performing arts as performer/ writer/ producer,
(c) Experience in formulating, planning and administering of projects/ schemes dealing with performing arts specially in Kathak dance and classical music,
(d) Knowledge of Government Rules and Regulations.

Age limit: As on 31st August, 2009, between 40-50 years and relaxable 5 years as per govt. rules.
