The Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Institute (CIHTS) is a Deemed to be University. The Institute invites applications from eligible candidates in the prescribed form for preparation of Panel to fill up current and future vacancies on regular/contractual basis as per requirements of the teaching/research areas in the following subjects.

• Professors (Pay Scale: Rs.16400-22400) One each in Moolshastra -Sanskrit-Tibetan Medium and Tibetan Medium, Sanskrit, Bhot Shilp Vldya, Bhot Jyotish and Research.
• Readers (Pay Scale: Rs.12000-18300) One each in Moolshastra,Sanskrit,Bhot Shllp Vidya, Gelug Sampradya . and Sakya Sampradya.
• Editors (Pay Scale: Rs.12000-18300) One each in the Units of Dictionary, Restoration, Rare Buddhist Texts and Publication.
• Lecturers (Pay Scale: 8000-13500) One each in Sanskrit, Bhot Jyotish, Nigngma Sampradya, Sakya Sampradya, English, Tibetan Language, Tibetan Woodcraft, Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Bon Sampradya, Bhot Chikitsa Vidya, Tibetan History, Political Science, Bhot shilp Vidya ,Tibetan Fine Arts & Paintings and Two in Getug Sampradya.
• Instructors (Pay Scale: 8000-13500) One in Games and Physical Education
• Asstt. Editor (Pay Scale: 8000-13500) One in Translation.
