Applications are invited for filling up of 10 temporary posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (male/female) under the sports quota in Haryana Police. Selection shall be made in accordance with the provisions under PPR 12.3& 12.6(as amended up to 2007). Eligibility:

Character Certificate: No person shall be appointed to the post of Sub-Inspector unless he/she produces a certificate of Character from the Principal/ Academic officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended, if any, and similar certificates from two other responsible persons, not being his/her relatives who are well acquainted with him/her in his/her private life and are unconnected with his/her university, College, School or institution.
Educational Qualification: Graduate of recognized University. Candidates must posses knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric Standard, Relaxation in educational qualification may be given by the Director General of Police, on the written recommendations of selection Board in special cases.
