Engagement As Bus Drivers on Short-Term Contract For 89 days.

Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), an Undertaking of Government of NCT of Deihl invites applications from interested persons to work as bus drivers on short-term contract or 89 days at wages not less than minimum wages, with an incentive uplo a maximum of Rs. 2000/- per month on performance basis and on the basis of prescribed minimum atlendance in a calendar month.

Applicants must be literate (preferably 10th passed or equivalent from any recognised Board/ institute), not more than 45 years of age as on 1/8/2008, holding a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle License for at least 3 years as on 01/8/2008 and PSV Badge issued in Delhi State (as per criteria/conditions applicable to commercial drivers or PSV for issue of Authorization Cards), registered with Employment Exchange in NCT of Delhi for Heavy Motor Vehicles Drivers. He should be medically fit as per the minimum medical standards prescribed by DTC including minimum height of 162 em. and 6/6 vision without glasses with no colour blindness. He should have passed training conducted by IDTR/ Stale recognized drivers training Instt. Delhi otherwise, he would have to undergo this training at his own cost and obtain the certificate before engagement as a contractual driver in DTC in case he is selected. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law. Medical lest of eligible candidates will be followed by a driving skill test. No TAIDA will be paid.

A person previously engaged in DTC as driver through placement agency or directly as contractual driver, but black listed for fatal accident or/and any serious misconduct need not apply.
